On December 5-8, 2007 in the framework of the Agreement on cooperation between National Agricultural University and Agricultural Academy in Lublin, Poland the delegation from mentioned before academy (consisting of 8 persons) had visited NAU for participation in the International student scientific symposium.
On November 30, 2007 (Building 3, room 33) on the basis of the Education and Research Institute of Natural Sciences and Liberal Arts the scientific and practical conference «Humanitarian space of agrarian education» devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Department of Philosophy of NAU was held.

On September 11, 2007 the meeting of the delegation from Denmark with students and lecturers of the structural subdivision of NAU «Nemishaevo Agrotechnical College» took place.
The delegates presented the program of farmers training in Denmark, and had a look at programs of training of specialists for agriculture in Ukraine, visited the Education, Research and Production Center of Fishery of the College and Education and Methodological Center for Training of Junior Specialists of Department of Agricultural Education, Science and Extension of Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine. Guests were interested in educational-methodological formulations and art works made by students and lecturers from high agricultural educational establishments.
As a result of the meeting the direct contacts among educational establishments of Ukraine and Denmark were established.

On 26-27 th of July 2007 in National Agricultural University of Ukraine the representative international meeting «Reducing the risk of disaster from catastrophic wildfires in the Chernobyl Irradiated Forests» with participation of experts from UN, Council of Europe, OSCE, WWF, IUCN and other international organization, officials of Ukrainian ministries and Kyiv government was held . The meeting is organized with financial support of Chopivsky Family Foundation, NAUU and Yale University.
On July 16-20, 2007 within the framework of Agreement about Cooperation between National Agricultural University and Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany) at the Southern Subsidiary «CATU» of NAU seminar will be hold on introducing Master program ,«Process management and quality management» with the assistance of representatives of NAU and Humboldt University.
On July 7-13, 2007 within the framework of Agreement about Cooperation between National Agricultural University and Zhejian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (China), delegation from China has visited NAU. During visit round table was held, it was devoted to discussion about cooperation and its further development in the field of animal science and molecular biology.
On June 12-16, 2007 (Kyiv, Glushkova Avenue, «Expocenter of Ukraine») National Agricultural University took part in annual XIX International agroindustrial exhibition-fair «Agro-2007».
On June 4-7 , 2007 in the framework of collaboration among National Agricultural University, State Forest Committee of Ukraine and Swedish Agricultural University according to program Ukrainian-Swedish project of collaboration on helping of reforming program of forestry in Ukraine the scientific and practical seminar Reforming of Forestry in Ukraine was held.
On May 24-25, 2007 on a basis of National Agricultural University of Ukraine the international scientific conference «Dormancy — fundamental and applied aspects» was held. The main sections of the conference was:
Natural dormancy — physiological-biochemical and genetic mechanisms of evolution, support and going out of living organisms from dormancy;

On May 6-21 2007, a group of foreign students and lecturers from Iowa State University (USA) visited NAUU.

From May 18 till May 21, 2006 within the framework of bilateral cooperation between National Agricultural University of Ukraine and Warsaw Agricultural University Rector of NAUU Academician Dmytro O. Melnychuk visited the above-mentioned University on the occasion of celebration of the 190th anniversary of Agricultural Institute in Marimont.

On April 4, 2006 at 4 p.m (assembly hall, building 3) the concert of famous poet, honoured worker of Art of Ukraine, Professor Vadym Kryshchenko was carried out by the Department of Culture.
In concert took part: Ivo Bobul, Viktor Shportko, quartets «Yavir» and «Hetman», Zhanna Bondaruk, Olga Makarenko, Pavlo Merezhuk, Yaroslav Mykhailovych, duet «Rosychi» and others.
On March 24, 2006 at 3 p.m. (assembly hall, sports complex of NAUU) students and staff of NAUU met with Ukrainian boxer, sixfold champion of the world in kickboxing, threefold champion of Ukraine in boxing, champion of the world in version WBA and WBO Vitaliy Klychko. They had a chance to speak with famous sportsman.
On April 4, 2006 (room 222, 17 Vasylkivska str., Kyiv) the scientific seminar «Modern Land Surveying Science: directions, methodology, organization of researches» for post-graduates and young scientists of Land Surveying specialties will take place at Education and Research Institute of Land Resources and Law of NAUU together with Main Research and Designed Institute of Land Surveying.

On March 21, 2006 Scientific Council and students of NAU had meeting with Kyiv mayor Oleksandr Omelchenko.
On March 16, 2006 the second round of competition «Student of NAU — 2006» was carried out at Kyiv territorial center. The task was to write essay on given topic. After this five winners in each nomination will be determined (in total 15 competitors).
On March 14-16, 2006 on the basis of Education and Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products the International scientific and practical conference «Cattle’s tuberculosis and leucosis: veterinary, social and economic problems» was carried out.
On February 21-24 on the basis of Education and Research Institute of Forestry and Park-Gardening the representatives of Swiss Forestry Research Center Ola Salnas and Mattias Berglund selected students for study on International Master Program «Steady forest management».
On February 13-19 Antje Bauch, Director of International Programs of Deutscher Bauernverband, visited NAUU. The aim of the visit was students’ selection for practical training at agricultural enterprises of Germany in summer 2006.
On February 15-18, 2006 on the basis of National Agricultural University the contenders’ selection for study on Master Program of High Agricultural School Anjer (France) was carried out. Also students were selected for practical training on program Farmers Association of France «Amitie sans Frontiers».
On January 16-17, 2006 the delegation of NAUU took part in the conference devoted to the 10th anniversary of NAUU and Humboldt University (Germany) collaboration, and also visited an international exhibition «Grüne Woche».

From September 26 till October 1, 2005 on the basis of NAUU, within the framework of international sport and physical training year «The reconstruction and rural development» and the celebration of 55th anniversary of the creation physical culture and sports association «Kolos», final competitions of All-Ukrainian summer village sport games was carried out. On June 22 2005 (Concert Hall, Educational Building 3) at 8 a.m. the one-day scientific and practical conference «ECOLOGY OF HOLOSIYIVSKY FOREST» begins.
Organizers: National Agricultural University (NAUU), Holosiyivska in Kyiv District Council, Kyiv Municipal Union «Kyivzelenbud», Ukrainian Ecological Association «Zeleny svit».
The reports will be given by scientists from NAUU, Kyiv National University named after T. Shevchenko, Institutes of Botany, Zoology, Hydrobiology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and from other organizations. They will concern the following issues:
peculiarities of soils, landscapes, hydrology, weather and climate conditions at the territory of Holosiyivsky forest;
flora and fauna of Holosiyivsky forest;
soils, water and biota pollution with heavy metals, radionuclides, pesticides and other pollution substances;
social and organizational issues on stabilization and improvement the ecological state of Holosiyivsky forest.

On June 10, 2005 (aud. 33, educational building 3) the first meeting of constantly acting scientific seminar "Speeches about languages. Language education in higher school" took place.
Famous scientists from Kyiv, philologists, linguists, writers and interesting people, as well as directors of ERI and ERC, deans and students of NAUU spoke there.
Guests visited NAUU museum, Department of Bee-keeping (apiary) and dendrological garden.
On June 1-3 2005 at the basis of National Agricultural University the International Scientific and Productive Conference «Modern achievements and perspectives of development of plant products storage and processing field» that is dedicated to the 90-th anniversary from the birthday and 50-th anniversary from scientific activity of Doctor in Agriculture, Professor Borys V. Lesyk took place.
On May 31 — June 7, 2005 a group of foreign students from University of Applied Sciences in Anhalt (Germany) accompanied by rector Prof. Dieter Orzessek and two lectures, Prof. Elena Kashtanova and Mrs. Sabine Thalmann visited NAUU. The aim of the visit was to present the Master program MFA (Master-Studiengang Food and Agribusiness) and to get acquainted with our University, its subdivisions, training and private farms.
On May 24-28, 2005 the representatives of Dresden Technical University Prof. Bernhard and Dr. Burger were with a business visit in NAUU. They not only participated in International, Scientific and Technical Conference but also made a selection among students of Technical ERI for studying at Dresden Technical University.
On May 24-27 2005 (15 Heroyiv Oborony Str., Kyiv) the International Scientific and Technical Conference «Modern Technique and Technologies in Agri-Industrial Complex» took place. It was dedicated to the 10-th anniversary of the collaboration between Mechanization of Agriculture Faculty (Education and Research Technical Institute of National Agricultural University) and Dresden Technical University.
On May 18-20 2005 at the basis of National Agricultural University (aud. 68, build. # 3) with the assistance of State Department of Veterinary Medicine, Ministry of Agricultural Policy, Association of Veterinary Medicine Specialists, Central State Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine and Administartion of Veterinary Medicine in Kyiv the Scientific and Practical Seminar on topic: "State Veterinary and Sanitary Supervision and Control of Economic Individuals’ Activity in Turnover of Animal Husbandry Products" took place.
108 participants were registered. Among them are representatives of regional administrations of veterinary medicine, state laboratories of veterinary medicine and scientists of leading higher educational establishments.

On March 21-27, 2005 2005 the Subject Olympiads for the graduates from village secondary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums and agricultural higher educational establishments of I and II level of accreditation (HEE) were held at National Agricultural University. Olympiad winners, who after graduation from higher school were granted with gold (silver) medal or received the diploma of HEE with honor, were admitted to NAUU at the selected by them specialties without entrance exams on the terms stated in p. 3 of «Regulation on Subject Olympiads by directions (specialties)»

On March 2, 2005 Educational and Research Institute of Forestry and Park-Gardening invited everybody to the International scientific and practical seminar «Forest protection and conservation in Ukraine: nowadays situation, problems and perspectives».
Such problems of forest protection and conservation in Ukraine were discussed at the seminar:
up-to-date situation in the legislative, normative-regulative and scientific-methodic provision of forest protection and in Ukraine;
economic, ecological, technological and forestry problems of forest protection and conservation in some forestry zones of Ukraine;
increasing of stability and improving of the sanitary state of artificial forestry biogeocenosis;
ways of improving of the conditions of growing of planting material in temporary planting places of Ukraine;
role of biological and infection cycles of pathogens’ development during the planning of the measurements against them;
ways of forest protection improvement on the basis of ecologically oriented forestry in the conditions of sustainable forestry development;
broadening of the assortment of wooden plants that are biologically stable to the harmful insects;
state and perspectives of scientific-methodical, informative-technological and material-technical providing the Higher educational establishments of ²-²V accreditation levels with the teaching of the forestry disciplines.

On February 22-24, 2005 in the frames of EU TEMPUS Program of Institutional Partnership Forming «Cooperation of state institutions with public organizations in the process of agricultural policy in Ukraine forming and implementation» the workshop «Professional and interprofessional organizations of Europe and Ukrainian approach to their creation and functioning» took place. EU and Ukrainian experts-participants (among whom were the representatives of ERI of Business) took part in the seminar’s work. The first Minister’s deputy on Agricultural Policy Ivan M. On February 20-24, 2005 for the determination of priority directions of collaboration and signing the Agreement on Cooperation between NAUU and Agricultural University of Wroclaw (Poland) the professors of the above-mentioned University visited the Productive Animals Faculty: Prof. Dz. Hab. Bozena Obminska-Mzukowiez, Dean of Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Prof. Dz. Hab. Jana Twardon, Deputy Dean of Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Prof. Dr. hab. On January 25, 2005 an International scientific and practical conference that was dedicated to the 80-th birthday anniversary and 50-th anniversary from the beginning of scientific activity of Doctor in Agriculture, Professor, Honorary scientist of Ukraine in the field of science and technique, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine Mykola K. Shykula, «Soil-protection and biological systems of agriculture, scientific, technological, technical, economic and ecological aspects of their usage» was held.
On December 20-22, 2004 with the assistance of Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Ukrainian Association of Geneticists and Selectionists after the name of M. I. Vavilov and National Agricultural University an International Scientific Conference «Current state and perspectives of agricultural animals genetics’ development» dedicated to the 100-th anniversary from the birthday of member-correspondent of Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences M.M. Kolesnyk took place.

Kozak, Dean of the School of Computer science, Telecommunications and Informative Technologies Helmut Epp, Honorable Professor of NAUU Victor Udin (Concordia College, USA) and Vice rector of Slovak University of agriculture in Nitra Prof. Dusan Huska are participated in the ceremony.
During the event the title of Honorable Professor of NAUU was given to Dean of the College of Agriculture and Horticulture — Prof. Uwe Jens Nagel.
Moreover, according to the decision of the Science Council of NAUU the titles of Honorable Doctors of NAUU was granted to President of Tokio University of Agriculture (TUA), Educational Corporation (Japan) Prof. Toshiro Matsuda and President of TUA Prof. Isoya Shinji, Director for International programs of TUA Prof. Akimi Fujimoto — with the title of Honorable Professor of NAUU.
