The development of Ukrainian state generates a need for an important and urgent task to educate of a genuine citizen, patriot of the native land, future national specialist. Educational work is the important link in the creative activity of both pedagogical and students’ collective of the college, directed to realizing life needs of professional training, labour activity, initiative, understanding of economic laws and problems of society.
For this purpose the college holds traditional actions, such as:
- “The Day of Knowledge Initiation of Students”, “The Students Day”, “The Day of Workmen of Agricultural Industrial Complex”, “The New Year”, “The Lovers Day”, “The 8th of March”, “Victory Day”, graduation evening parties, jubilees of renowned historians, writers, poets, etc.

Posters competition, rally, meetings with liquidators are carried out on the anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy.

The 15th of February was established as the Memory Day of S. Lantushenko, the graduate, who was killed in Afghanistan, rally- requiem is carried out.

Creative students teams are permanently running at College: girl-drummer ensemble “Litavry”, ball-dance ensemble “Mriya”, group “Kalina” and vocal ensemble “Pershyi snig” kept winning prizes and diploma of the annual arts competition “Holosiyivska Vesna” sponsored by National Agriculture University of Ukraine.
There are a lot of clubs according to the student’s interest at College. -
“The Rebirth” (directed by H. Mandych) is a Ukrainian philology amateurs club. The club members issue wall newspapers dedicated to commemorative dates, make visits to museums and organize meetings with interesting people.

“The Accountant” (directed by L. Pavlyk). This club facilitates a personality to be self-realized under market conditions and carries out research on occupational topics.

“The Commercial Dealer of the XXIst Century” (directed by L. Ishchenko). Members of the club arrange disputes and discussions, consider trading problems in Ukraine and arrange meetings with leading specialists of basic enterprises. The students take a permanent part in holding the holidays Irpin Town Day.

“The Young Housewife” (directed by F. Podlinyayeva). Members of this club return the old Ukrainian trades to life: they master the embroidering handicraft, lay bare the mysteries of the Ukrainian cuisine and learn housekeeping.
The annual Ukrainian lore conferences became the tradition at College. At the end of this academic year guests and students gathered for sincere conversation “Spiritual temple of man family and kin”. The participants of the conference were Apostolical Kyiv and all Russia-Ukraine Patriarchy Filaret, people’s deputy Liliya Grygorovych, Rector of NAUU, Academician, Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Melnychuk and “Golos Maiydanu” actor E. Nyshchuk.
The room-museum “Svitlytsya” (directed by Z. Kyrychenko) has been created as a center for studying the Ukrainian popular customs and rites. In 2005 student’s research efforts were published in collection “Batkivska spadshchyna”.
The college runs its chronicle: this is its history that is dear to all of its graduates and teachers. The most interesting or memorable pages are placed on stands and showcases of our educational institution’s historical museum. It is the museum that appears to be the first place of acquaintance with the college for newly enrolled students.
A vivid part in the students’ life is played by physical culture and sport. There are diversified mass sports events, among these being “The Freshman’s Week”, “The Cossack Pastime”, “The Feast of Rhythmic Dances” and volleyball, ping-pong, arm-wrestling and mini-soccer competitions.
Most honourable among the sports competitions are the cross-country races held in memory of S. Lantushenko, the college graduate. Each year the students compete for the right to own the major prize the transitive S. Lantushenko Sports Cup.
In 2005 the youthful team of the College won first place in volleyball competition by the program of region sports day among students of educational institutions of I-II accreditation level.
The college staff is in close collaboration with the Irpin Department of Family and Youth Affairs. Annually students take part in town’s posters competition “No narcotism”.
In 2005 the KVN team “Shalenyi potik” has reached the semi-final of regional competition among teams of Kyiv region.
The students are not staying away from reconstruction processes of Ukraine.
In 2005 the best and excellent students, activists of social life of College had been taking part in parliamentary hearings “About providing the children’s rights in Ukraine”.
At the end of June 2005 students took part in the Forum “The Rural development is the cause of youth ”, which was carried out on the basis of Sumy National Agricultural University.
The graduates are working almost in each farm of Kyiv region. They are working as leaders of enterprises, heads of the farm accounting office and agricultural district offices, etc.
