The Faculty of Park-Gardening and Landscape Architecture conducts specialists training by the specialty:
7.1304.02 — "Park-Gardening".
In the frameworks of the specialty training on the following specializations was started in 2004: -
Landscape Architecture and Park-Gardening Construction;
- Decorative Horticulture and Transplantation;
- Landscape Organizing of Nature-Reserve Fund.
During the next years we are planning to open other specializations, such as Floriculture and Management in Park-Gardening.
The training of specialists is being conducted by the following education and qualification levels: -
Bachelor in Park-Gardening;

Master in Park-Gardening by full time, correspondent and external forms of study.
The bases of practices and training for the Faculty are: -
Kyiv state municipal association of green construction «Kyivzelenbud» and its regional municipal enterprises for green plantations keeping;

Botanical gardens and dendrology parks of Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine;
-
Municipal enterprises of towns and regional centers;
-
Forestry and park enterprises;
-
Decorative nurseries;
-
Gardening centers and landscape firms of Ukraine and other countries of the world;

National nature parks and regional landscape parks.
In 2004 the Education and Research Center (ERC) «Yaltynsky» of NAUU started its work on the territory of Nikitinsky botanical garden in Crimea. The main task of the Center is conducting educational and production practices and students’ training and organizing scientific researches, made by master program students, lecturers and scientists on the issues of landscape architecture and park-gardening construction.
